It is a unique region created by human, history and nature together and integrated in the most beautiful way in the world. It is a dream town with fairy chimneys formed by erosion over thousands of years, valleys, underground cities created by people carving for shelter and protection, rock churches and two centuries-old frescoes that are still alive.

  • Where is Taskonaklar?

    Taskonaklar hotel is located in Uchişar, the highest point of the Cappadocia region. It has an uninterrupted view of the Pigeon Valley, Erciyes (Argeus)Mountain, Red Valley and Göreme.

    Thanks to its central location in Uçhişar, Taskonaklar is very close to all the important points to be seen in Cappadocia.

    By Car: Göreme Open Air Museum is 7 minutes, Ürgüp and Ortahisar is 15 minutes, Avanos and Mustafapaşa 20 minutes, Pasabağ and Devrent Valley 10-15 minutes. Kaymakli Underground City 25 minutes, Derinkuyu Underground City 30 minutes and Ihlara Valley is 1 hour and 15 minutes away.

  • Which airport would you recommend for transportation to Taskonaklar?

    There are 2 airports that serves Cappadocia Region; Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport (NAV) and Kayseri (ASR) Erkilet Airport. It’s easy to reach our hotel from both airports. Nevşehir Airport is 35 Km and it’s approximately 35 minutes by car. Kayseri airport is 75 Km away and approximately 1 hour away by car.

  • Can you arrange an airport transfer?

    Yes, we can either arrange a shared group transfer (shuttle) or a private transfer from both Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport (NAV) and Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR). You can contact our reservation team for prices and details.

  • Can you make reservations for activities such as Balloon tours and Region tours?

    Yes, our experienced concierge team for all activities in the Cappadocia region will gladly assist you with all your reservation requests and needs to organize the perfect holiday for you.

  • Are there any special activities organized by your hotel?

    As Taşkonaklar, we have created unique activities to provide our guests a remarkable Cappadocia experience. A few example are;

    - A gastronomic journey or wine tasting in a cave lit by candles,
    - Sunrise breakfast in the valley against the balloons or sunset picnic
    - A tasting menu offered by our Executive Chef in the valleys of Cappadocia.

  • Do you accept children in your hotel?

    Yes, we accept children of all ages at our hotel.

  • Can we come to your restaurant without being a hotel guest?

    Yes, our restaurant and 2 bars serve breakfast, lunch and dinner also to guests who do not stay at Taskonaklar. You can contact our reservation team for availability and reservation.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 11:00.

  • Do you accept pets?

    Yes, Taşkonaklar is a pet friendly hotel. You can find the details here Animal Friendly

  • Is smoking allowed in the rooms?

    No, all our rooms are non-smoking rooms but you can reserve a room with balcony or terrace by contacting our reservation team.

  • Can we see the balloons from the hotel or our room?

    Although it varies depending on the weather conditions and wind direction, you can enjoy the amazing balloon view from our rooms with balconies and terraces as well as our common areas such as the hotel gardens and the restaurant, all facing the magnificient, uninterrupted Cappadocia view.

  • Is your hotel suitable for someone with walking difficulties?

    Since Taskonaklar is restored according to its original, unfortunately we have stairs within the hotel . However, if you contact us, our team will help you for an entrance level room that will best suit you and serve your breakfast to your room free of charge.

  • Are there balloon flights in winter?

    Balloons fly every month of the year. But in case of adverse weather conditions, such as strong wind, rain or fog, they are canceled. In case of cancellation of flights, any prepayment you have made is fully refunded.

  • Do you have wireless internet service in your rooms?

    Free wireless internet is available in all our common areas and rooms.

  • Is there a SPA in your hotel?

    We do not have a SPA in our hotel, but we have an in-room massage service. You can contact our Concierge team for reservation.

  • Is there a jacuzzi in every room?

    We have 7 suites and rooms with jacuzzi (hot tub) on their private terrace. These are the Royal Suites and the Deluxe Room with Outdoor Jacuzzi. You can contact us for your reservation request.

  • Are the jacuzzis private to the room? Is there a jacuzzi for communal use or indoors?

    Jacuzzis are located on the private terrace of the rooms and are only available to the guests staying in the room.
